Pike on the inside corner. Ballista one pad behind, looking down the lane. Do not splash yet.
Runner trap
Snare (Last) touching Pike (First)
Snare on the exit of a U-turn. Pike on the pad they walk into. Ballista elsewhere on Fast.
Armor break
Ballista (Armor) + Pitch or Mortar (Last)
Ballista on Armor so bolts dump into hides. Pitch/mortar on Last so splash cooks the blob at the back.
Cold iron
Frost (Close) touching Mortar or Pitch (Last)
Frost on the inside of the turn, Close so it always tags the pack. Mortar one pad out, Last.
