Ravelin

Cookie Policy

Effective 19 September 2026

What we use

Ravelin uses a small number of strictly necessary cookies and similar storage so the keep can run. We do not use advertising cookies. We do not use analytics cookies today. If that changes, this page will say so and we will ask where the law requires.

Strictly necessary

Session cookie — set when you sign in, so we know it is you on later requests. Without it, accounts, friends, and the armory cannot work.

In some preview or embedded views, a bearer token is used instead of a partitioned cookie. Same purpose: session.

Cookie-ack in local storage — remembers that you saw this notice so we do not block the yard every refresh.

Local storage (not a cookie)

Guest commander progress, mute, map choice, and claimed checkout ids for this browser. Clearing site data forgets a guest hold. A signed-in keep is also stored on the server.

Third parties

Google and X set their own cookies if you sign in with them.

Stripe sets cookies on checkout.stripe.com when you pay.

We load fonts from Google Fonts, which may see your IP. That is a third-party request, not our session cookie.

Your choices

You can block cookies in your browser. Blocking the session cookie will sign you out and break account features. Guest play still works.

To withdraw the notice acknowledgment, clear this site’s data.

For a full picture of data, read the Privacy Policy.
