The agreement

By playing Ravelin, creating an account, or paying, you agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the keep.

The service is provided by the operator of playravelin.com. Contact: privacy@playravelin.com.

These terms do not guarantee that nobody will sue. They set the rules of the yard.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13. If you are under 18, you may not buy Aether or Keepers Pass unless a parent or guardian makes the purchase and accepts these terms.

You are responsible for the account and for what happens in yards you open.

The game

Solo holds are the campaign. Yards (duel and 2v2) are a separate, friends-only mode. They are casual. There is no ranked ladder and no prize.

We may change waves, prices, towers, maps, and Warden rules. Progress, gold, and ranks are licensed to you for use in the game, not owned as real-world property.

We may shut down, pause, or reset features. We will try not to, but we do not promise perpetual servers.

Accounts and conduct

Do not cheat, scrape, attack, harass, impersonate, or spam friend invites. Do not buy or sell accounts.

Warden may revert impossible holds and mark a keep “on watch.” Friends can see that mark. Repeat abuse can mean suspension or deletion.

Handles must not infringe others or break the law. We may reclaim a handle.

Purchases

Aether packs and Keepers Pass are digital. Stripe is the merchant of record for checkout. Prices include the label you see before you pay.

Rewards unlock only after Stripe confirms payment. There is no honor-system claim.

Keepers Pass is a subscription. Cancel anytime in Account — you keep the Pass through the period already paid, and we will not charge the next month. Manage cards and invoices in Stripe’s billing portal from the same screen.

Aether is consumed in-game (ranks, holds). Unused Aether is not cash.

Yards and P2P

Yards connect devices directly. We are not responsible for what another keeper says or sends. Play with people you added.

Host-ruled simulation: the host’s keep is the rulebook. Do not treat a yard as a tournament of record.

Intellectual property

Ravelin, the keep, and the art and code we ship are ours or our licensors’. You get a personal, revocable, non-transferable license to play. You do not get a right to copy, scrape, or resell the game.

Disclaimer

THE GAME IS PROVIDED “AS IS.” WE DISCLAIM WARRANTIES TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free play.

Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST GOLD, RANKS, PROFITS, OR DATA.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR A CLAIM RELATING TO THE GAME IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE GAME IN THE THREE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) TEN US DOLLARS.

Some places do not allow these limits. In those places, our liability is limited to the least amount the law allows. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited (including for fraud or death caused by negligence where that cannot be waived).

Indemnity

You will defend and indemnify us against claims that arise from your misuse of the game, your yards, or your breach of these terms, except to the extent we caused the claim.

Disputes

Contact us first and give us 30 days to try to fix it.

These terms are governed by the laws of the publisher’s principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except that you may have mandatory consumer protections in your home country (including the EEA/UK) that still apply.

If you are a consumer in the EEA/UK, you may also use the EU ODR platform or your local courts. If you are a business, exclusive venue is the courts of that principal place of business.

Changes and end

We may update these terms. The date at the top is the effective date. If you keep playing, you accept the new terms where the law allows.

You may stop at any time and delete your keep. We may suspend or end access if you break these terms or if we stop operating the game.
